While I agree with you on scope of the interface is too generic, but this blog is about what Kotlin has to offer in OO programming. For specific OO in more detail I have different series of blogs for that.

Also, target audience for these blogs is someone who is learning Kotlin. Having a generic example always helps in relating to the topic.
